Veronica’s practice is dedicated to class actions and complex litigation. Frequently sitting at the intersection of law and science, Veronica has guided her clients through hotly contested intellectual property, trade, and product liability disputes. She has leveraged her engineering background to translate technical evidence into persuasive legal strategy across a variety of sectors, including AI, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, defence, and telecommunications.

Veronica is driven by a resolve to ensure her clients’ voices and stories are heard. Her class action practice currently focuses on copyright, AI, product liability, and competition law.

Prior to joining Sotos, Veronica practiced at leading litigation firms, where her practice focused on patent litigation and multi-plaintiff disputes. She has appeared before the Federal Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
